Stefano Festa was born in Milan. In 1970, when he is only 12 years old, he meets the postcubist painter Ibrahim Kodra, a close friend and artistic heir of Picasso, who recognizes in Festa strong artistic flairs.

So young, Festa begins to attend regularly the Master’s studio located in Milan, as his pupil and then as his personal art assistant for 22 years long, up to 1992, following Kodra in his frenetic activity in Italy and abroad.

The painting of Kodra, who exhibited also with Kokoschka, Picasso, Matisse, Mirò, Modigliani, and the attendance of the artistic milieu around his Master will play a strong role in the artistic education of Festa and in the development of his peculiar social commitment to the promotion and watching of art and artists

But we never got presents for Christmas. Of course, this has changed and unfortunately Christmas is more and more an occasion to offer and consume or to feel obliged to celebrate and consume".
She went on to say that "for me, it is still a welcome break to stay at home, meet friends who are alone as I am, without a close family".

Milan: Guy Bourdin is considered to be one of the most daring and intriguing artists in the world of 20th century visual culture. A singular artist with a unique perception of art, fashion, advertising and life, and a relentless search for perfection. He was responsible for the groundbreaking turning point in the world of image-making in the late 70s.
Guy Bourdin was a man with the aura of a visionary and fluid imagination, who worked in metaphors and explored contradictory realities, dialoguing with the sublime and irrational qualities with great intensity.Fascinated by his mentor Man Ray, the photographer Edward Weston and the surrealist painters René Magritte and Balthus, he spent the formative years in post war France, within a conservative social climate,

The Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV) was prepared for reboost operations by ATV Control Centre (ATV-CC) in Toulouse, France. The manoeuvre started at 08:42 CEST (06:42 GMT) yesterday morning and provided a 4.05 m/s thrust lasting 20 minutes using two of the ATV's four main engines with an outstanding precision of 1%.
